JMP pottery is elegant, functional tableware handmade by Joan Platt. It is made with stoneware clay, which is hard and durable. It has been glazed with non-toxic glazes and fired in a gas kiln to a high temperature.
The tableware is available in three colors: creamy sand, deep, shiny brown-black, and green. The flames and smoke of the glazing kiln cause lively and interesting variations in the color, and sometimes even the shape, of each piece—no two are exactly alike.
The pottery is dishwasher and microwave safe.
